Alien vs. Predator (Novelization)

Description

"Alien vs. Predator," published by HarperEntertainment in July 2004, is the novelization of the film of the same name. It was written by Marc Cerasini.

A satellite detects a pyramid buried deep under the ice of Bouvetøya, a remote island north of Antarctica. Billionaire Charles Bishop Weyland gathers an expedition, guided by Alexa "Lex" Woods, to explore it. Inside, the team is caught in a ritual hunt between Predators and Aliens.

The book adds a lot to the film. A new opening, set in northern Cambodia in 2000 BC, follows Funan, a tribal chief, as he and three of his men hunt near a sacred pyramid. The novel also includes the 1904 attack on a whaling station seen in the film's Unrated Edition, along with characters who do not appear in the movie.

Synopsis
