Aliens: Incubation

Description

"Aliens: Incubation" is a two-part comic story published by Dark Horse Comics in September and October 1995, in issues 101 and 102 of "Dark Horse Presents." It was written by Ron Marz and drawn in black and white by Bernie Wrightson, who also drew both covers. It is the prequel to the crossover "Batman/Aliens," by the same team.

During routine maintenance on an interstellar ship, a member of its non-human crew finds an object hidden inside. It opens like a flower, and the creature within grabs his face. The Alien that later bursts from his chest kills the rest of the crew. The damaged ship crashes in a jungle on Earth, where a geologist collecting soil samples finds the wreck.

Matt Hollingsworth colored the story for the "Batman/Aliens" trade paperback in 1997.

Synopsis
