Aliens: The Female War is a book released in 1993. Its story takes place around 2194, about 15 years after Alien 3 (2179) and about 187 years before Alien Resurrection (2381). In the Legacy Alien timeline, it comes after Aliens: Female War (around 2194) and before Aliens: The Alien (around 2194).

The final book of the original Aliens novel trilogy, written by Steve Perry and Stephani Perry and adapted from the Dark Horse comic series Aliens: Female War (originally titled Aliens: Earth War).
Wilks and Billie join a mysteriously resurrected Ellen Ripley on a desperate mission to the Aliens' home world: capture their Queen Mother and use her to take back an Earth overrun by the creatures.
