"Green Lantern versus Aliens" is a four-issue crossover comic book series released by DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics from September to December 2000. It was written by Ron Marz, pencilled by Rick Leonardi and inked by Mike Perkins, with covers by Dwayne Turner.
Green Lantern Barin Char dies when a Chestburster erupts from his chest. Hal Jordan and other members of the Green Lantern Corps track the creatures to a cavern on a border world. Hal decides that the Aliens are predators rather than evil, and moves them to the living planet Mogo instead of wiping them out.
A decade later, the Coluan ore freighter Signet Dawn crashes on Mogo. Former Corps members ask Kyle Rayner, Hal's successor, to help them rescue its crew. The Aliens are waiting in the wreck, and Kyle has to decide whether to make the same choice as Hal.
Years ago, Hal Jordan chose to contain a nest of Aliens rather than destroy it. Now a freighter has crashed on the planet where he left them, and Kyle Rayner is called in to rescue the crew.
