Description

"Superman/Aliens II: God War" is a four-issue crossover comic book series released by DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics from May to December 2002. It was written by Chuck Dixon, pencilled by Jon Bogdanove and inked by Kevin Nowlan. It is the sequel to "Superman vs. Aliens" (1995).

A ship carrying a brood of Aliens crashes on Apokolips. Darkseid sees in the creatures the key to an indestructible army and uses his Parademons as hosts. On New Genesis, Superman is the guest of Highfather and Orion when a warning predicts that a horror will soon reach the planet.

Darkseid launches a surprise attack with Parademons carrying Alien embryos. Superman and the New Gods must find the Queen at the heart of the infestation, while Darkseid has kept a special role for Orion.

Synopsis

A ship carrying Aliens crashes on Apokolips, and Darkseid sees in them the army he has always wanted. On a visit to New Genesis, Superman hears a warning that a horror is coming.
