The Predator Holiday Special

Short film

The Predator Holiday Special

Description

"The Predator Holiday Special," released in 2018, is a two-minute stop-motion comedy short made by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios. It was directed by David Brooks and Alex Kamer and written by Matthew Senreich and Matt Motschenbacher. 20th Century Fox used it to promote the home video release of "The Predator." It first aired on Comedy Central on December 19, 2018, then went up on YouTube.

The short is a promotional parody, a gory spoof of the 1964 special "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," and it is not part of the franchise's canon.

At the North Pole, the elf Sprinkles is telling Blitzen how excited he is about Christmas Eve when a red laser sight lands on the reindeer. Blitzen pulls out a minigun and opens fire on the trees. A Predator is hunting in the woods around Santa's house, and Santa's other reindeer are just as heavily armed.

Synopsis

At the North Pole, a Predator stalks Santa's elves and his heavily armed reindeer. A stop-motion parody made to promote the home release of "The Predator."
