Alien vs. Predator: Thrill of the Hunt

Description

"Alien vs. Predator: Thrill of the Hunt" is a 96-page graphic novel released by Dark Horse Books in October 2004 as a tie-in to the film "Alien vs. Predator." It is not an adaptation of the film. It was written by Mike Kennedy and pencilled by Roger Robinson and Dustin Weaver, with a painted cover by David Michael Beck.

The story takes place far in the future, around the time of "Alien Resurrection." A computer virus known as the Big Deletion has wiped out most of humanity's records and started a second Dark Age. All memory of the two species is gone. On a distant jungle world, a Predator hunt inside a buried pyramid ends in an explosion. Some time later, industrialists from Lambda Exponential make the first planetfall in over 114 years and find themselves caught between Predators and Aliens.

The story continues in "Alien vs. Predator: Civilized Beasts" (2008).

Synopsis

Long after a computer disaster erased most of humanity's past, a corporate expedition makes the first planetfall in more than a century. Nobody aboard remembers the Predators or the Aliens.
