Predator: Prey to the Heavens

Description

"Predator: Prey to the Heavens," originally published simply as "Predator," is a four-issue comic book series released by Dark Horse Comics from June 2009 to January 2010. Written by John Arcudi and drawn by Javier Saltares, with covers by Raymond Swanland, it was the first original Predator miniseries from Dark Horse in ten years. A short prologue by the same team appeared in the Free Comic Book Day 2009 Aliens/Predator issue.

In an East African country torn by civil war, the private military company Graham Directive Security protects American interests. Its leader, Thorpe, has already met Predators in Gabon. When a convoy is ambushed, Thorpe and his men end up in the middle of a war between two Predator clans: a band of Killers who slaughter anyone in their way, and a lone hunter of the traditional kind.

The story leads into "Aliens vs. Predator: Three World War" (2010), in which the Killer clan returns.

Synopsis

During a civil war in East Africa, mercenary Thorpe and his Graham Directive Security crew are caught between two rival Predator clans. One of the hunters seems to take their side.
