Description

"Predator: Turnabout," published in March 2008 by DH Press, the book imprint of Dark Horse, is an original novel by Steve Perry, with a cover by Stephen Youll. A short sequel, "Rematch," appeared in the 2017 anthology "Predator: If It Bleeds."

Sloane is a park ranger in the Alaskan wilderness and a former Marine sniper who served in Vietnam. When he finds a grizzly bear with its head taken, he blames poachers, and a group led by the wealthy Jack Regal is indeed out in the woods. Sloane also has to look after Mary Collins, a young woman from the city who has come to see the place where her brother died. The bears have drawn other hunters too: a party of Predators.

Synopsis

In the Alaskan wilderness, park ranger Sloane goes after bear poachers. He soon learns that a party of Predators has come for the same game, and that they hunt men too.
