XENOMORPH TIMELINE
"Superman and Batman versus Aliens and Predator," released by DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics in January and February 2007, is a two-issue crossover in prestige format. It was written by Mark Schultz and drawn by Ariel Olivetti, whose painted art was made on computer. Later collections use the title "Superman and Batman vs. Aliens and Predator."
Aliens and Predators are back on Earth. In fact, they never left. Batman discovers that a whole colony of both species has been sealed away from humanity for centuries, hidden in the Andes. Now it is ready to spread. Superman joins him to get the creatures off the planet before they threaten its existence.
The story is outside the regular DC continuity and is not part of the Alien and Predator continuity either. It follows the earlier crossovers in which Batman and Superman each faced the Aliens or the Predators.
Batman learns that Aliens and Predators have been hiding on Earth for centuries. With Superman, he has to get them off the planet before the colony spreads.
