Superman vs. Predator

Description

"Superman vs. Predator," released by DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics from May to July 2000, is a three-issue crossover. Written by David Michelinie and drawn by Alex Maleev, it pits the Man of Steel against a Predator.

In the jungles of Central America, a S.T.A.R. Labs research team finds a spacecraft of unknown origin. Superman joins them and catches an alien virus that drains his powers. A mad scientist and his mercenaries want to use the discovery to kill millions of people. Then the ship's owner comes back. The Predator senses a worthy opponent and chooses the weakened Man of Steel as its next prey.

This crossover is not part of the continuity of either franchise. Batman had already met the Predator in "Batman versus Predator," and Superman had fought the Aliens in "Superman vs. Aliens."

Synopsis

In the jungles of Central America, an alien virus drains Superman's powers just as a Predator picks the weakened Man of Steel as its next trophy.
