Predator: Captive

Description

"Predator: Captive" is a one-shot comic book released by Dark Horse Comics in May 1998. Written by Gordon Rennie and drawn by Dean Ormston, it has a cover by Dean Williams.

May 1998. Tyler Stern, a reclusive billionaire industrialist, has done what nobody else could do: he has captured a living Predator. He keeps it in a biosphere built in the Nevada desert and studies it by sending in human test subjects for it to hunt. His new head of security is the only survivor of a Predator raid on a Contra training camp in Nicaragua in 1984. He thinks Stern badly underestimates the alien.

Catching a Predator alive is the goal of the government team in "Predator 2." "Captive" is one of the rare stories where someone succeeds.

Synopsis

In the Nevada desert, billionaire Tyler Stern keeps a living Predator in a biosphere and feeds it human prey. His new security chief, who survived a Predator attack in Nicaragua in 1984, warns him the creature cannot be held.
