Predator: Hell & Hot Water

Description

"Predator: Hell & Hot Water," released by Dark Horse Comics from April to June 1997, is a three-issue comic book series. Written by Mark Schultz and drawn by Gene Colan, it is the first undersea story of the Predator franchise.

In 1997, the crew of a Chilean fishing boat sees something fall from the sky into the Humboldt Current. A secret organization that has dealt with Predators before sends Captain Rafe Cromartie and his team to find the alien and capture it. But the hunter has not come for them. It is stalking unknown creatures that live in a volcanic rift on the sea floor, and it uses the humans as bait.

The story takes place the same year as the film "Predator 2."

Synopsis

Off the southern coast of Chile, Captain Rafe Cromartie and his team go after a Predator that has dropped into the sea. The hunter is using them as bait to draw out something far worse living in the deep.
