"Predator: Bump in the Night" is a black and white short story published by Dark Horse Comics in "Dark Horse Presents" #124, released on August 13, 1997. It was written by Duncan Rouleau and Steven Seagle, pencilled by Rouleau and inked by Jim Royal. The issue has a Predator cover by Val Mayerik.
Three boys camp out in a backyard in the suburbs and trade scary stories. One of them claims he has seen a monster in a spaceship nearby. The others do not believe him, so they go and check. They spot a Predator shooting at birds for practice and get away without being noticed. But the Predator follows them home.
The story has a lighter tone than most Predator comics and ends on a cliffhanger.
