Predator 2 (Game)

Description

"Predator 2" is the title of several games based on the 1990 film. The first, a rail shooter developed by Arc Developments and published by Image Works and Konami, came out in 1991 on home computers such as the Amiga and the Commodore 64. Two other games followed on Sega consoles, both published by Arena Entertainment: an overhead shooter made by Perfect 10 Productions for the Genesis in 1992, and a side-scroller made by Teeny Weeny Games for the Master System and Game Gear.

In every version the player is Lieutenant Mike Harrigan, fighting drug gangs in the streets of Los Angeles while the Predator stalks the city. The Sega games ask him to rescue hostages before the hunter can kill them. The Genesis game follows the film from the rooftops and the subway to the slaughterhouse where Keyes and his team are trapped, and on to the Predator ship.

Synopsis
