XENOMORPH TIMELINE
"The Predator," published by Titan Books in September 2018, is the official novelization of Shane Black's film of the same name. It was written by Christopher Golden and Mark Morris from the screenplay by Fred Dekker and Shane Black.
In Mexico, Army sniper Quinn McKenna sees a Predator ship crash and takes some of the alien's gear before the government can seize it. He mails it home to the United States, where his son Rory works out how to use one of the devices. The signal brings a bigger and deadlier hunter to Earth. To stop it, McKenna teams up with a group of troubled ex-soldiers and science teacher Casey Brackett.
The book includes several scenes that were shot for the movie but cut from the final edit.
A sniper sends home gear taken from a crashed Predator ship, and his young son figures out how to use it. The signal brings a deadlier hunter to Earth.
