XENOMORPH TIMELINE
"Alien: Covenant In Utero," released in 2017, is a virtual reality short of about 90 seconds directed by David Karlak and produced by Ridley Scott. It was made by RSA VR, FoxNext VR Studio and MPC VR to promote "Alien: Covenant" and came out on April 26, 2017, for Alien Day. It was first available for free in the Oculus Video app, then on other VR platforms from May 10.
The viewer is the Neomorph. The short replays a scene from the film: Karine has rushed a sick Ledward back to the lander when the creature bursts from his back. Everything is seen and heard from the creature's point of view, with the host's heartbeat and the screams of the crew around it.
One detail differs from the film. Here the newborn Neomorph attacks Karine at once.
A 360-degree virtual reality short that replays the birth of the Neomorph in "Alien: Covenant" from inside Ledward's body, seen entirely through the creature's eyes.
