Alien Earth (codename Prodigy or Mr. October) is an upcoming science fiction horror television series written and directed by Noah Hawley, based on the Alien franchise. The series will serve as a prequel and will be set three decades before the events of the 1979 film Alien.
When a mysterious spaceship crashes on Earth, a young woman and a group of soldiers make a terrifying discovery that confronts them with the planet's greatest threat. As the team searches for survivors in the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more menacing than they could have ever imagined. With this new threat, the research team must fight to survive, but their decisions in the face of this discovery could change the Earth as they know it.
