Aliens: Fire and Stone

Description

"Aliens: Fire and Stone" is a four-issue comic book series released by Dark Horse Comics from September to December 2014. Written by Chris Roberson and drawn by Patric Reynolds, with covers by David Palumbo, it is the "Aliens" chapter of the "Fire and Stone" crossover and links the films "Aliens" and "Prometheus."

In July 2179, Xenomorphs overrun the colony of Hadley's Hope. Terraforming engineer Derrick Russell gets 38 colonists aboard the Onager, an ore drilling ship, and they flee LV-426. They crash on LV-223, the moon where the Prometheus landed in 2093. Some Aliens were hiding in the cargo bay.

Stranded in the jungle, the survivors turn on each other while the creatures pick them off. Russell finds a probe left by the Prometheus mission and starts to study the moon on his own. Russell and the Onager are also mentioned in the novel "Alien: River of Pain."
