Aliens: Stronghold

Description

"Aliens: Stronghold" is a four-issue comic book series released by Dark Horse Comics from May to September 1994. It was written by John Arcudi and drawn by Doug Mahnke, the team behind Dark Horse's "The Mask" comics. It was collected in 1996, then again in 1997 as "Aliens, Vol. 8: Stronghold."

Philip and Joy Strunk run supplies for the Grant Corporation. They land at Dr. Caspar Nordling's research facility to deliver synthetic parts, but they are also there to gather evidence against him. Nordling works with an all-android staff and says he is developing a virus that could wipe out the Aliens. He introduces them to Jeri, a synthetic Alien that speaks English.

Jeri is a successor to Norbert, the synthetic Alien built by Stan Mayakovsky in "Aliens: Hive," the comic later retitled "Aliens: Harvest" and adapted as the novel "Aliens: Alien Harvest."

Synopsis
