Predator: Xenogenesis

Description

"Predator: Xenogenesis," released by Dark Horse Comics from August to November 1999, is a four-issue comic book series. Written by Ian Edginton and drawn by Mel Rubi and Andrew Pepoy, it was the Predator part of the "Xenogenesis" event, published alongside "Aliens: Xenogenesis" and "Aliens vs. Predator: Xenogenesis."

The story takes place in a near future where London lies under water and Birmingham has become the capital of England. After years of research into the Predators, a black-ops strike team called Spearhead has been formed to destroy them for good. One of its members is Subotai, an immortal Japanese samurai who has fought the Predators since they first came to Earth. He begins to doubt Spearhead's commander, his old friend John Dancer.

After this series, Dark Horse's regular Predator line went on hiatus for ten years.
