Predator: Flesh and Blood

Description

"Predator: Flesh and Blood" is a novel by Michael Jan Friedman and Robert Greenberger, published in paperback by DH Press, the prose imprint of Dark Horse, in September 2007. The cover is by Stephen Youll.

In the novel's future, humans have nearly ruined Earth and now strip the outer planets of their resources. The Ciejek family has grown rich from that trade. Andar Ciejek left his family long ago to work for an ozone restoration company on Earth. After the death of his grandfather Karl, he travels to Felicity, the family's mining planet, for the reading of the will. His cousin Derek has obtained a transmission the Predators use to signal good hunting grounds. He uses it to lure a band of them, called the Hish in the novel, to Felicity and turn them loose on Andar.

The hunters who answer come from two clans that were forced to merge after heavy losses.

Synopsis

When patriarch Karl Ciejek dies, his grandson Andar returns to the mining planet Felicity for the reading of the will. His cousin Derek wants the family empire for himself, and he has called in the Predators to get rid of Andar.
