XENOMORPH TIMELINE
"Alien vs. Predator 2 2D: Requiem," released in 2007, is a side-scrolling action game developed and published by Superscape for mobile phones. It is loosely based on the film "Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem," and its title screen simply reads "AVP Requiem."
The game does not take place in Gunnison, Colorado. The action is set in a secret facility, and the human enemies are Colonial Marines rather than National Guard troops, which places it around the time of "Aliens."
The player picks one of two creatures. The Alien attacks with its claws and acid spit, eats its victims to heal and collects eggs to fill its rage meter while the hive grows. The Predator uses wristblades and twin plasma casters, picks up armor to heal and can cloak for a short time. His task is to destroy the Aliens and leave no trace of them.
In a secret facility guarded by Colonial Marines, the player either spreads the hive as an Alien or hunts it down as a Predator, wiping out every trace of the creatures.
