Aliens versus Predator (1999 Game)

Description

"Aliens versus Predator," released in May 1999, is a first-person shooter developed by Rebellion and published by Fox Interactive for Windows, later ported to Mac OS. It has three separate campaigns, one for each species, and they do not connect. A Gold Edition followed in 2000, and Monolith's "Aliens versus Predator 2" in 2001.

The Marine, Private Anderson, serves at a Weyland-Yutani research facility built around the derelict ship on LV-426, ten years after Hadley's Hope. When the base is overrun, he fights his way off the planet and through an orbital station and a troop transport. The Alien starts in a temple and finds its way onto human ships. The Predator hunts on several worlds, from a military base called Area 52 to the prison on Fiorina 161.
