Description

"Aliens versus Predator: Extinction," released on July 30, 2003, is a real-time strategy game developed by Zono and published by Electronic Arts and Fox Interactive for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. There is no base building. The game focuses on managing units in combat, and its single-player mode has 21 missions, seven for each species.

LV-742 is a distant planet where Predators come to hunt a local Alien hive. Human colonists land there and find the hive dormant, and it soon wipes out the first colony. As the Colonial Marines fight back, a Predator clan arrives to prove itself to the Ancients, the rulers of its race, by taking trophies from the strongest warriors. Weyland-Yutani scientists also experiment on the Aliens.

Synopsis

On the distant world LV-742, a Weyland-Yutani colony stumbles on a dormant Alien hive that a clan of Predators has come to hunt.
