Aliens vs. Predator

Description

"Aliens vs. Predator," released by Dark Horse Comics from June to December 1990, is a comic book series of five issues numbered #0 to #4. Written by Randy Stradley and drawn mostly by Phill Norwood, with Chris Warner on the last issue, it was the first crossover between the two franchises. Issue #0, printed in black and white, collects the prologue first serialized in "Dark Horse Presents" #34 to #36.

On the colony planet Ryushi, the ranchers of Prosperity Wells are about to ship their first herd of rhynth. A Predator ship has seeded the planet with Alien eggs for a coming-of-age hunt. When the hunters' leader, Broken Tusk, is knocked out and taken by the colonists, the young Predators turn on the humans. The Aliens spread through the colony, and administrator Machiko Noguchi has to decide whether to trust the captive hunter.

The story was adapted as the novel "Aliens vs. Predator: Prey" (1994).

Synopsis
