Alien: Isolation (Novelization) is a book released in 2019. Its story takes place in 2137, 15 years after Alien (2122) and 5 years before Alien: Romulus (2142). In the Alien books timeline, it comes after Alien (Novelization) (2122) and before Alien: Prototype (around 2139).

"Alien: Isolation" is the official novelization of the 2014 video game by Creative Assembly. Written by Keith R.A. DeCandido, it was published by Titan Books in July 2019.
Fifteen years after her mother disappeared aboard the Nostromo, Amanda Ripley learns that the ship's flight recorder has been found. To recover it, she travels to Sevastopol, a decrepit space station in orbit around a gas giant. There she faces not only a Xenomorph but also desperate humans and the station's malfunctioning androids.
The novel follows the story of the game and adds scenes from the Ripley family's past, including Amanda's childhood, the last month she spent with her mother before the Nostromo left, and her troubled relationship with her stepfather.
Fifteen years after the Nostromo vanished, Amanda Ripley travels to the remote Sevastopol station, where the ship's flight recorder is being held, to learn what happened to her mother. The official novelization of the 2014 video game.
