XENOMORPH TIMELINE
Alien: Ore is a short film released in 2019. Its story takes place around 2122, around the same time as Alien (2122) and about 20 years before Alien: Romulus (2142). In the Alien movies timeline, it comes after Alien (2122) and before Alien: Containment (around 2125).
There is something strange going on in the mining colony of Bowen's Landing, as one of the miners has gone missing. While expecting the arrival of her second grandchild, the miner, Lorraine Hawkes, boards the lift down into the main shaft along with a team of colleagues, only to come face-to-face with a grisly discovery, and a formidable invader who is lurking in the dark mine. Now, Lorraine has to make a crucial decision. Will she obey the company's orders, or will she make a last stand, and prevent the beast from escaping into the colony?
When her shift uncovers the death of a fellow miner under mysterious circumstances, a hard-working miner of a planetary mining colony is forced to choose between escaping and defying management orders to fight for the safety of her family.
