XENOMORPH TIMELINE
"Aliens: Labyrinth" is a four-issue comic book series released by Dark Horse Comics from September 1993 to January 1994. It was written by Jim Woodring and drawn by Kilian Plunkett. S. D. Perry adapted it as the 1996 novel "Aliens: Labyrinth."
Aboard Innominata, a military research station in deep space, Dr. Paul Church runs test after test on captive Aliens to predict their behavior. Colonel Doctor Anthony Crespi is sent to join him. When an apparent saboteur is killed by an escaped Alien, the station becomes a crime scene, and Crespi begins to suspect that the creature did not get out on its own.
The series follows "Aliens: Backsplash," a two-part prequel by the same team printed in "Dark Horse Comics" #12 and #13 in 1993. Set nine years earlier, it shows Crespi surviving a failed attack on a hive on Solano's moon. Both stories were collected together in 1995.
On the secret research station Innominata, Dr. Paul Church studies how Aliens think and hunt. When a man is killed by an escaped Alien, Colonel Doctor Anthony Crespi suspects that the creature had help getting out.
