XENOMORPH TIMELINE
"Aliens: Alchemy" is a three-issue comic book series released by Dark Horse Comics from September to December 1997. It was written by John Arcudi and drawn by Richard Corben, who also painted the covers.
Long ago, the USS Emerson crash-landed on a remote planet. Only the children on board survived, and they founded the town of Emerson. Their descendants follow a strict faith built on an old book that predicted an ecological apocalypse. The town council is debating a referendum on salvaging the wreck, and the religious leader, Legate Carson Muir, stands in the way.
Toch Newcomen preaches that the end of the world is coming. Soon a creature is killing settlers and cattle, and Muir uses the fear to tighten his hold on the town. Toch's sister Rachel, a police sergeant, suspects that the answer lies inside the old ship. Issue 3 is dedicated to Rachel Carson, who wrote "Silent Spring."
On a backwater world settled by the child survivors of a crashed ship, preacher Toch Newcomen warns that the end is near. Then something starts killing the people of Emerson.
