Aliens: Sacrifice

Description

"Aliens: Sacrifice" is a comic book story written by Peter Milligan and drawn and colored by Paul Johnson. It first ran in four parts in the British "Aliens" magazine, published by Dark Horse International, from March to June 1993. Dark Horse Comics released it in the United States as a prestige one-shot in May 1993.

A ship crashes on a desolate planet, and Ann McKay walks away from the wreck alone. Through the jungle she reaches an isolated human settlement. For about nine months the villagers have lived in fear of a creature that came out of a crashed cargo ship and killed its crew. They take her in. At night, McKay sees a strange procession leave the village, one man carrying a small bundle in his arms.

The story was later collected with "Aliens: Salvation" in "Aliens: Salvation and Sacrifice" (2001).

Synopsis

Ann McKay is the only survivor of a crash on a jungle planet. The human village she reaches has lived for months with an Alien nearby, and its people are hiding something from her.
