Description

"Aliens: Thanatos Encounter," released on March 21, 2001, is a top-down shooter for the Game Boy Color published by THQ. It was developed by Crawfish Interactive, with the work carried out by the Australian studio Wicked Witch Software.

A Marine battalion heading home from a training mission picks up a distress beacon from the freighter Thanatos. Marine HQ orders a detour, and after failing to make contact, the Marines dock and board the ship. Over twelve levels, the player clears out Aliens and rescues survivors, choosing one of five Marines at the start of each stage. If a Marine is captured, the next one has a short time to rescue them from the infested aqueducts.

Synopsis
