Alien 3: Alone

Description

"Alien 3: Alone" (styled "Alien³: Alone") is a short comic printed across nine cards of Star Pics' "Alien 3" trading card set, released in May 1992. Produced by Dark Horse Comics, it was written by Jerry Prosser, pencilled by Hoang Nguyen and inked by Paul Guinan.

Each card carries one panel on its back. A man sits alone in a sanitarium on a quarantined planet, left behind because of the illness he carries. He remembers how he and two other patients, Roger and his daughter Anne, found a ship that had crashed there and hoped it could still fly them off the planet. On board was a single egg. They took it back with them.

The story was never reprinted until Marvel included it in "Aliens: The Original Years" in 2021.

Synopsis

On a quarantined planet, the last patient of an abandoned sanitarium remembers how a crashed ship and a single egg cost him his two companions. Now he waits alone.
