"Aliens: Salvation" is a one-shot comic book released by Dark Horse Comics in November 1993, in prestige format. It was written by Dave Gibbons, pencilled by Mike Mignola and inked by Kevin Nowlan, with a cover by Mignola.
Selkirk is a God-fearing cook aboard the Nova Maru, a Weyland-Yutani freighter. When Aliens break loose on board, Captain Foss forces him into an escape pod at gunpoint and leaves the rest of the crew behind. The pod crashes on PCW9512, and the two men are stranded on a small island. It soon becomes clear that they have not escaped the Nova Maru's cargo.
Dark Horse collected the story with "Aliens: Sacrifice" in 2001, then reissued it as a hardcover with a new Mignola cover in 2015.
An Alien outbreak hits the freighter Nova Maru, and Captain Foss forces the cook Selkirk into an escape pod at gunpoint. They crash on a small planet, but the ship's deadly cargo has not stayed behind.

Aliens: Salvation is a comic released in 1993 that takes place in around 2180 in the Alien timeline. In the Legacy Alien timeline, it comes after Aliens: Taste (around 2180) and before Aliens: Alien (around 2180).
