Aliens: Armageddon

Description

"Aliens: Armageddon," released in 2014, is a light gun arcade shooter developed by Play Mechanix and published by Raw Thrills. It was first shown at the IAAPA trade show in November 2013. Up to two players use guns with force feedback, on a 55 inch cabinet or a smaller 42 inch model.

Aboard the USS Capella, a Weyland-Yutani research ship in orbit around Earth, the Alien specimens break loose. A crew member triggers the self-destruct, but the creatures survive and rain down on Earth with the debris. The plague spreads to every major city. The only hope left is to fight through four chapters to reach the Ark, a deep space cargo ship, and leave the planet behind.

In 2017, the game was put back in arcades under the name "Alien: Covenant" to promote the film.

Synopsis

The research ship USS Capella is overrun by Aliens and destroyed in orbit, and the creatures fall to Earth with the debris. Players fight across the infested planet to reach the Ark, a cargo ship leaving Earth.
