Aliens: Female War

Description

"Aliens: Female War," originally published as "Aliens: Earth War," is a four-issue comic book series released by Dark Horse Comics from June to October 1990. Written by Mark Verheiden and drawn by Sam Kieth, with covers by John Bolton, it concludes the trilogy begun with "Aliens: Outbreak."

The Aliens still hold Earth. On Gateway Station, Hicks and Newt meet Ripley again, more than ten years after she was taken from the Sulaco. She has recruited the soldiers stranded on the station and fitted a ship with an acid-proof hold. Her target is the Queen Mother on the Aliens' homeworld. Ripley wants to drag her to Earth to lure the hordes into one place, then set off the nuclear charges Dr. Orona left behind. Newt keeps watching the broadcasts of Amy, a girl still alive down on the planet.

Steve Perry and Stephani Perry adapted it into the novel "Aliens: The Female War" in 1993.

Synopsis

Hicks and Newt find Ripley alive on Gateway Station. She plans to capture the Queen Mother on the Aliens' homeworld and bring her to Earth as bait.
