Aliens: Nightmare Asylum (Comic)

Description

"Aliens: Nightmare Asylum," originally published as "Aliens" Book Two, is a four-issue comic book series released by Dark Horse Comics from August 1989 to May 1990. Written by Mark Verheiden and drawn and colored by Den Beauvais, it picks up where "Aliens: Outbreak" ends.

Hicks, Newt and Butler, a badly damaged synthetic, have stowed away on the American, an automated cargo ship leaving Earth. The hold is full of Aliens and the destination is unknown. The drone lands at a secret military base run by General Thomas Spears. Spears breeds Aliens and believes he can teach them to fight their own kind. Several of his own people think he is mad. He plans to lead his trained Aliens back to Earth himself.

Steve Perry adapted the series into the novel "Aliens: Nightmare Asylum" in 1993, with Hicks and Newt renamed Wilks and Billie.
