Predator: Blood on Two-Witch Mesa

Description

"Predator: Blood on Two-Witch Mesa" is a two-part short story published by Dark Horse Comics in its anthology "Dark Horse Comics" #20 and #21, in April and May 1994. It was written by Terry LaBan and drawn by Howard Cobb. Issue #20 has a Predator cover by Brom.

The story follows "Predator: Big Game." Enoch Nakai has left the army and is haunted by what he saw. One night in 1994, his grandfather shows him a dart from a Predator weapon and tells him what happened in 1919. That year, Navajo men led by Enoch's great-grandfather tried to stop white oilmen from drilling on Two-Witch Mesa, an ancient burial site. A Predator struck at both sides.

The story was later collected in "Predator Omnibus: Volume 2" (2008).

Synopsis

Out of the army, Enoch Nakai still has nightmares about the creature he fought in "Big Game." His grandfather tells him how, in 1919, their family met the same hunter during a fight over a sacred Navajo site.
