XENOMORPH TIMELINE
"Alien Trilogy," released on February 29, 1996, is a first-person shooter developed by Probe Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment for the PlayStation, with Sega Saturn and MS-DOS versions later that year. Loosely based on the first three films, it debuted Acclaim's motion capture technology, which was used to animate the Aliens.
Ripley, a Colonial Marine in this version, lands on LV-426 with a team sent to restore contact with the colony. Most of the team is soon killed. She then fights her way through the infested colony, a prison facility and finally the derelict alien ship, facing Aliens at every stage of their life cycle along with combat androids. The story is told through text briefings across 30 levels.
Ripley and a Marine team land on LV-426 to find the colony overrun. Her fight takes her from Hadley's Hope to a prison facility and into the derelict ship.

Alien Trilogy is a video game released in 1996 that takes place in around 2179 in the Alien timeline. In the Alien games timeline, it comes after Alien 3: The Gun (around 2179) and before Aliens: Infestation (around 2179).
