Alien 3: The Gun

Description

"Alien 3: The Gun," released in 1993, is a light gun arcade game developed and published by Sega on its System 32 hardware. Players fire a large mounted gun modeled after the M41A pulse rifle from "Aliens."

The game tells an altered version of the film's story. One or two players take the role of Colonial Marines who escape the Sulaco and end up on Fiorina 161, a prison planet overrun by hundreds of Aliens. The seven levels are based on sets from the film, such as the mess hall and the lead works. Along the way the Marines rescue prisoners and fight bosses that include a giant Facehugger. Weyland-Yutani troops are also on the planet, sent to retrieve specimens by any means necessary.

Synopsis

Two Colonial Marines crash on Fiorina 161 and fight hordes of Aliens and Weyland-Yutani soldiers in Sega's light gun take on the third film.
