William Gibson's Alien 3

Description

"William Gibson's Alien 3" is a five-issue comic book series released by Dark Horse Comics from November 2018 to March 2019. Johnnie Christmas adapted and drew William Gibson's unproduced screenplay for "Alien 3," working from its second draft, with colors by Tamra Bonvillain. It is an alternate version of the story and not part of the film continuity.

On its way home from LV-426, the Sulaco drifts into the territory of the Union of Progressive Peoples. Three UPP commandos board it and find a Xenomorph egg grown out of the upper half of Bishop's body. A facehugger attacks their leader, and the other two leave with the torso. The ship goes on to the space station Anchorpoint.

Ripley lies in a coma. Hicks and Newt are ordered to keep quiet about what happened on LV-426, while Weyland-Yutani's weapons division studies the samples found aboard. On the UPP station Rodina, scientists are doing the same with their half of Bishop.

Synopsis

After "Aliens," the Sulaco strays into space held by the Union of Progressive Peoples. UPP commandos board it and find a Xenomorph egg growing out of what is left of Bishop.
