Aliens: Colonial Marines - No Man Left Behind

Description

"No Man Left Behind" is a one-shot comic book published by Dark Horse Comics under the cover title "Aliens: Colonial Marines" and given away for free at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2012. Written by Joshua Williamson and drawn by Patric Reynolds, with a cover by Menton Matthews III, it is a tie-in to the Gearbox Software game released by Sega in 2013. The issue also holds a gallery of "Aliens" pin-ups.

The story takes place just before the game. A squad of Colonial Marines is fighting a horde of Xenomorphs when Weyland-Yutani's private soldiers arrive and kill Marines and creatures alike. Only the medic known as Doc and Private O'Neal are left alive.

Doc saves O'Neal from a group of Xenomorphs. Then the two men find a wounded company soldier who only wants to see his wife again, until a chestburster tears its way out of him.
