Alien 3 (Comic)

Description

"Alien 3," also styled "Alien³," is a three-issue comic book adaptation of the 1992 film, released by Dark Horse Comics in June and July 1992. Written by Steven Grant from the screenplay by David Giler and Walter Hill, it was pencilled by Christopher Taylor and inked by Rick Magyar, with painted covers by Arthur Suydam.

An escape pod from the Sulaco burns through the atmosphere of Fiorina 161 and crashes near a prison colony. Ripley is the only survivor. Hicks and Newt are dead, and Bishop is in pieces. The colony is an all-male prison, and its inmates pray under the lead of Dillon. A dog called Sparky has met a Facehugger.

The comic mixes scenes from the theatrical cut and from the longer Special Edition, and adds a few that appear in neither version.

Synopsis

Ripley's escape pod crashes on Fiorina 161, a prison planet with an all-male population of inmates. She is the only survivor, but she did not come down alone.
