Batman versus Predator

Description

"Batman versus Predator" is a three-issue crossover comic book series published jointly by DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics from December 1991 to February 1992. It was written by Dave Gibbons, pencilled by Andy Kubert and inked by Adam Kubert. A regular edition had covers by Chris Warner and Gregory Wright. A prestige edition had covers by Arthur Suydam and came with trading cards.

Gotham mob bosses Alex Yeager and Leo Brodin settle their feud with a boxing match, won by Yeager's fighter Marcus King. A Predator takes an interest. It kills King in his penthouse, then the boxers at Brodin's gym. Batman first suspects a gang killing. He soon understands that the killer follows a code and only kills those it considers worthy opponents.

It was the first Dark Horse comic to cross its Predator line with another franchise. Two sequels followed.
