XENOMORPH TIMELINE
"Predator: Cold War," published by Bantam Spectra in March 1997, is a novel by Nathan Archer, a pen name of Lawrence Watt-Evans, with a cover by John Bolton. It adapts the 1991 Dark Horse comic of the same name and is the sequel to the author's "Predator: Concrete Jungle."
An object falls from the sky into the Siberian wilderness, and the people around a remote oil pumping station start dying. Satellite data tells the Pentagon that the Predators are back. General Philips puts together a secret team to bring home the crashed ship and its technology. NYPD detective John Schaefer, who has already faced the hunters in New York, is forced to go with them. Russian troops are heading for the same wreck.
In the novel, the Russian officer Ligachev from the comic becomes Lieutenant Ligacheva.
A Predator ship crashes in Siberia. Detective John Schaefer is pressed into a covert American team sent to recover it, while Russian forces race to reach the same wreck.

Predator: Cold War (Novelization) is a book released in 1997 that takes place in around 1990 in the Predator timeline. In the Legacy Predator timeline, it comes after Predator: Cold War (around 1990) and before Batman versus Predator (around 1991).
