"Predator: Invaders from the Fourth Dimension" is a one-shot comic released by Dark Horse Comics in July 1994. It was written by Jerry Prosser, pencilled by Jim Somerville and inked by Brian Garvey. Somerville also drew the cover.
The story is a tribute to the science fiction B movies of the 1950s. In 1959, a Predator lands on the back lot of a Hollywood studio and attacks the offices of American National Pictures. With the help of special glasses, eleven-year-old Tommy Anderson is the only one who can see the creature, but he has trouble convincing the adults. The Predator then turns up at the Atomic Drive-In, during the premiere of a new film in 4-D.
Dark Horse did not publish another new solo Predator story until "Predator: 1718" in 1996.
Hollywood, 1959. The studios churn out alien invasion movies, and a real alien hunter lands on a back lot. Thanks to a pair of special glasses, eleven-year-old Tommy Anderson is the only one who can see it.
