Description

"Predator: The Hunted City" is a three-part short story published by Dark Horse Comics in its anthology "Dark Horse Comics" #16 to #18, from December 1993 to February 1994. It was written by Charles Moore, with pencils by D. Alexander Gregory and Scott Fischer. Issue #16 has a Predator cover by George Pratt.

In the summer of 1947, two crime families share the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Someone starts killing the men of both Tony Vincenzo and Bernie Jinks. Vincenzo is in jail and keeps quiet about what he saw, because nobody would believe him. Max, a crime reporter covering the gang war, is soon chased by both families, who want to know what he knows. Military intelligence officers are also on the case and want the truth kept quiet.

Synopsis

Manhattan, summer 1947. Someone is killing the men of rival mob bosses Tony Vincenzo and Bernie Jinks, and a crime reporter named Max knows more than he is telling.
