"Aliens: A Comic Book Adventure," released on May 25, 1995, is a point-and-click adventure game for MS-DOS. It was developed by Cryo Interactive with Dark Horse Interactive and published by Mindscape. Loosely based on the Dark Horse "Aliens" comics, it borrows a lot from "Aliens: Labyrinth," and its box reuses Den Beauvais's cover for issue #2 of the 1989 "Aliens" series.
The terraforming ship USS Sheridan is heading back to Earth when its computer, MOM, picks up an automated SOS from a mining outpost on the planet B54c. MOM wakes the crew from hypersleep, and protocol leaves Lieutenant Colonel Henry Hericksen no choice but to land and investigate. Behind the mine lies a secret genetics laboratory where military experiments have let the Aliens loose. The player explores the base with the team, solving inventory puzzles between grid-based combat sequences.
Lt. Col. Henry Hericksen and the crew of the USS Sheridan answer an SOS from a mining outpost and find a secret laboratory where military experiments have unleashed the Aliens.
