Aliens: Newt's Tale

Description

"Aliens: Newt's Tale" is a two-issue comic book series released by Dark Horse Comics in June and July 1992. Written by Mike Richardson from James Cameron's screenplay, it was pencilled by Jim Somerville and inked by Brian Garvey, with painted covers by John Bolton.

Asleep aboard the Sulaco, Newt relives her worst nightmare. Out on the Ilium Range, her family's tractor comes across a derelict spacecraft, and her father is attacked by a Facehugger. Back at Hadley's Hope, Newt and her brother Timmy watch from an air duct as he dies. Within days the colonists are barricaded in a storage room, waiting for help. Newt ends up hiding alone in the vents for almost two weeks.

The rest of the story follows the film from her point of view, from the arrival of Ripley and the Marines to the fight with the Queen.
